Wendy Good

Wendy Good is a home school mom of two energetic and beloved boys. She teaches music to grades 1-7 two hours a week at Bethel Mennonite School in Gladys, VA and gives private piano lessons. Originally from United Bethel Church in Plain City, Ohio, Wendy sang with the Madison Choral Singers, Rosedale Chorale, the Hartville Singers, and Mennonite Heritage Chorale. Wendy graduated from Cedarville University with a BA in piano performance and BME in music education. She received an MS degree from Longwood University and an Ed.D. degree from the University of Virgina in Administration and Supervision. Wendy served in the Virginia public school system for 11 years: five as a music teacher grades preK-8 and six years as an assistant principal, grades ranging from 5-12.  Five years ago, Wendy returned to music, composing songs out of personal pain and brokenness in her life under the pseudonym Tirzah Joy. Since then, she has enjoyed setting chapters of Scripture to music and sharing her CDs with family and friends.
